Classic. Curious. Creative.

My Creative Sensibility

How Do I Know What I Think Until I See What I Said?

That is the question posed by English novelist E.M. Forster and it’s one that I ask myself on a daily basis.

As a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and experienced copywriting and editing professional, it’s my mission to deliver beautiful, precise language that elicits an emotional response and motivates action. When I began my pursuit of a Master of Fine Arts degree, I hoped to build a career helping people communicate more clearly, tap into their own creativity, and simplify the storytelling process. Many of us know what we want to say, but we don’t know how to say it, so we spend far too much time rewriting our material to make it work across multiple distribution platforms.

As a writer, whether the project requires the creation of simple blog posts, press releases, or comprehensive content for a client, it’s my job to provide material that works: a press release that also works as a blog post; a blog post that serves the foundation for a presentation; a presentation that serves as the foundation for a marketing plan. As an editor, it’s my job to ensure that your work is clear, concise, and polished.
